The 1st Saturday of each month from 11am to 1pm is New Member Orientation. We ask that everyone interested in becoming a volunteer at the rescue, come and sit in on Orientation. You will learn many valuable things about the rescue and animals as well go on a tour of the barn and property learning where things are kept and how things are done. After you may stay and help clean, fill water troughs, wash water buckets, feed the animals at feeding time. Then you are free to come to the rescue any time you like. Volunteer feeding times are Saturday and Sunday's at 8:30am until completed and 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday afternoons until completed. Help is always needed for all feedings.
The 1st Sunday of each month is Open House where the farm is open to the public. Come out and visit all of the farm animals and ask questions. A $5 pp donation is asked for. Open House is from 2pm to 4pm. Volunteers are always needed to meet and greet visitors and show them around.
